Old Paradian’s Association Football Club has recovered from its ‘premiership hangover’, are back in training, and will be launching its 2016 season on Friday 18 March at 6pm. This reasonably informal affair will be held in a central location and we hope to attract both past and current players/members/supporters/sponsors to the event.
There will be a couple of ‘happy hours’ at the beginning of the evening along with a few nibbles.
Tony De Bolfo will be conducting a couple of short interviews with some of the key figures for our 2016 season. He will also interview two ex students who have just recently been recruited by St Kilda – Jade Gresham and Nick O’Kearney – to gain an insight into the transition from school & TAC footy to the AFL.
It will be a great opportunity to catch up with a few old friends, settle a few bets, and hear about the clubs plans for the future.
Personally, after the past six months, it will be nice to see a few old faces at a relaxed OP’s function rather than a funeral!
